Edo Governorship 2024: Chairman Egor LGC rally support for Asue Ighodalo, Osarodion Ogie

• Says every other candidate is an apprentice hence no choice!

As the September 21 Governorship election in Edo State draw near, the Chairman Egor Local Government Council, Hon. Eghe Ogbemudia on Saturday, 27 July, 2024 organised a road walk to rally support for the candidates of her Party; the People Democratic Party (PDP), Asue Ighodalo and Osarodion Ogie.

A crowd of Party members and supporters mobilised by the Chairman for the event, across the 10 Wards of the Council area were gathered at the Party's Secretariat in Uselu, as early as 7a.m.

From there, amidst the air of wild excitement they walked and danced through the Textile Mill road spanning about 3km down to the Teachers House in Ogida.

The Chairman said she was using the event to sensitize voters in the locality on the need to cast their ballot for the Asue and Ogie ticket of the PDP.

As She asserts; it was the right choice for the voters to make against all other candidates which according to her; are neophytes seeking to govern Edo State.

The PDP in Egor has the needed number of voters to win the locality for its candidates, she asserts adding that it was not being boastful.

In pidgin English Hon. Ogbemudia said while addressing the gathering; "PDP ready for this election; we nor dey hire people.

"We go win this election! Make una nor fear, on September 21, we go mobilize all our people because the only way Edo State go remain better pass as e dey so, na to vote PDP!"

She further asserts;. the only way her good works for the people of the locality would continue, is to ensure the PDP wins!

Urging the party members and supporters not to rest on their oars but continue to mobilize for the victory of the PDP and its candidates, She said: "na Oga dey show apprentice work; every other party and their candidates na apprentice; na we PDP na im be Oga!"

The PDP Chairman in Egor, Chief Idehen Ekundayo Manfred and the DG, Asue Ighodalo and Ogie Campaign Council, Egor LGA, Osagie Osifo joined Hon. Ogbemudia to lead the road walk which lasted several hours of the day.
