The All Progressives Congress (APC), Edo State Chapter has declared; it is not signing the peace accord amongst participating political parties for the Governorship election of Saturday, 21 September, 2024.
The APC State Chairman, Emperor Jarrett Tenebe in a media briefing today; Thursday morning in Benin, made the declaration.
He said the APC would not sign the peace pact until the police arrested or declared wanted, and ransom placed on the head of suspects of the Airport road shooting which claimed the life of inspector Akor; security aide of the party's candidate; Monday Okpebholo.
The peace accord event being organised by the Independent Electoral Commission (INEC), holds today in Benin.
